I am attaching my outline for the brief paper, presentation must be done based on the outline. IF YOU CANT OPEN ANY OF THE SOURCES PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR HELP.
The presentation (done in google slides) is where you will take what you’ve learned to make a few specific, concrete suggestions for your colleagues. In this case, what are 2-3 pieces of advice you would give to colleagues who are trying to teach writing to kids with autism? ( one of the advises must be on handwriting without tears article) Think about what would be helpful to you as a teacher. For example, if someone said, “Try UDL,” you might say, “Okay. But how, exactly, do I do that?” On the other hand, if someone said, “Try using multiple access points. For example, you might allow kids to choose whether to “write” their first draft by speaking into a tape recorder or writing an outline,” then you might have a more specific idea for your next writing project.
The draft slides should include all of the specific points you plan to include in your final presentation, but you don’t need to worry about formatting yet. In other words, most of your text and other relevant parts of the presentation (e.g., any diagrams or images you plan to use) should be there, but you might not have the slides formatted or be using different colors yet as you will to make your final presentation attractive and engaging.
Presentation must provide specific, actionable suggestions for special education teachers using evidence from multiple sources.
Presentation thoughtfully integrates multiple modalities (e.g., images, printed words, and your voice) with each modality adding something new to the presentation (e.g., you talk about a diagram that you have drawn to help explain a particularly complex idea)
Presentation gives specific suggestions for teaching culturally and linguistically diverse students throughout (not just on a single slide or two)
be 4-6 minutes long (I will only watch and grade the first 6 minutes)
use multiple modalities (e.g., written text, your voice, diagrams, photographs)
suggest Implications for Practice based on what youve learned about your topic. In other words, what did you learn that you think would be particular helpful for your classmates to know or be able to do? Be as specific as possible. For example, You should use culturally relevant teaching may not be very helpful. On the other hand, You should make sure that your class library has books written by diverse authors is a more helpful, specific suggestion that your colleagues can use.
Offer concrete suggestions for teachers of racially, culturally, and linguistically diverse classrooms
