For this assignment you should watch and write a 2.5-3 page reaction paper to the documentary Maquilapolis (2006). The film is 70 minutes long, so give yourself sufficient time to watch, take notes, and think about what you will write. Maquilapolis is over a decade old, and as you will hear in the video, much of the work done by women like those profiled in the film has been relocated to Asia and other locales where labor is cheaper. Nonetheless, it paints a compelling portrait of some of the issues and opportunities associated with globalization.
