This AIP will allow the student to write a critical study that examines local data as well
as national and local practices to reduce poverty or improve race relations. The AIP
should ultimately focus on the student’s recommendation(s) for local efforts to reduce
poverty or race relations with support for that recommendation informed and supported
by the collected data and research. Evaluation of this exercise will be based on the
Critical Inquiry, Information Literacy and Quantitative Communication Rubrics. This will
