Order Description
THE ASSIGNMENT
Students must create a yardstick report. Even though the company and the companys need for a product will be fictional, the product that students will research must be real, for the research must be real. Students must assume that a company needs to buy a new product/ device or service (whatever that may be). Students have been tasked, by a boss, to create a yardstick report that compares these products or services by clearly established criteria.
THE EXPECTATIONS/ PARAMETERS
Here is a brief list of the major expectations:
1. The report must be approximately 4-5 pages.
2. The report must have at least one graphic, which must be practical and not merely aesthetic.
3. The report must have at least three assessment criteria.
4. The report must revolve around a recommendation based on research. There must be at least three sources, and these sources must be cited along APA lines.
5. The report must have a recommendation, which must logically follow from the research.
6. The report must begin by explaining why the product or service is needed.
