Write one page to describe “UNIQUE SELLING PROPOSITION”

Please write an Unique Selling Proposition of our LCoB – G.o.A.L. Program: Generation of Aspirational Leaders according to IMC#1. Since it is an team project, I only need one pages about my part which is USP(unique selling proposition.

UNIQUE SELLING PROPOSITION

“Buy Rosario’s Food Truck products because it is non-GMO, unique; and will satisfy your taste buds just when you need it.”

Looking at the statistics of our target market, 40% of Hispanics do not follow a strict diet (Tristano, 2015). However, they do chose to eat healthy food most of the time because they understand the importance healthy food has in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The unique selling proposition clearly states that the product is non-GMO and made fresh, which would instantly grab the attention of our consumer who is in the mood for a quick meal. These words create a good image of the food truck and separates it from the rest who don’t advertise the health benefits in an increasingly health conscious society. Since Rosario’s food truck is located just outside of the Church, for now, we had to address the convenience factor in the unique selling proposition. For future revenue growth, putting the message in people’s mind that this food is available “just when you need it” is important. It creates awareness that the product will be available if and when they so desire. It creates a sense of reliability. Convenience also addresses our future plans for the food cart; to have it move around the city to cater to various concert or sporting events. People will know to count on their favorite quick meal after the event. This portion of the unique selling proposition, convenience, also addresses the opportunity to cater. We have high hopes for his catering service and letting consumers know that they can count on Rosario for food just when they need it. This is also important for the customers and for Rosario’s revenue growth opportunities.

IBISWorld reports that “Vendors that continue to offer unique food options will also be in a strong position going forward, as they have carved out a special niche and developed a loyal customer base” (Brennan, 2014, p. 9). This is why we have included the word “unique” in our Unique Selling Proposition. We want Rosario to expand his menu items to differentiate himself from the average food cart. There is nothing at Rosario’s food cart right now that people can’t get somewhere else and that is why we want to implement a new, exciting, and unique menu item. We thought it would be a great idea to have just one new item to start, such as a Mexican- Asian fusion Tamale or Taco. Having an innovative menu items is essential to the growth of his business (Brennan, 2015).
