William Wordsworth’s Work Underlying theme of nature

William Wordsworth’s Work €“ Underlying theme of nature
The paper needs to be about the underlying theme of nature in William Wordsworth’s work. 3 scholarly sources need to be used as well as numerous quotes from Wordsworth’s, Ode to Immortality, I wander lonely as a cloud, The World is Too Much with Us, and Tintern Abbey (As well as any other of his works). This must also tie into romanticism and Wordsworth’s family life.

Each paper is to be between five to six pages with at least 3 scholarly sources (no paper will be accepted with only internet sources; use journal articles, chapters from books, and books. As well, dictionary and encyclopedia sources will not count). The sources must be used meaningfully and not just used for quotes as filler to meet the source requirement. An analysis means first of all that you are writing a research paper using your primary source (the author’s text you have been assigned) and secondary sources (scholarly journal articles, chapters from scholarly books, scholarly books, and scholarly Internet sources). Choose your thesis carefully. I do not want to read a paper that merely retells the reading. I will say, Thank you very much, but I have already read the book. Certainly you must always introduce the text, author, and your thesis in the first paragraph to orient your reader, but after that initial orientation, begin your analysis. Carefully choose an aspect of the work that intrigues you. Perhaps it is the philosophical aspect of the novel, the author’s intentions (and why and how), the cultural aspect (setting, time/era, people’s behavior within that cultural milieu, etc.), the connection to history (how the text represents historical events or perhaps skews it), the truths of the text in terms of human behavior (deeper truths beyond surface truths, the philosophy of living and trying to make sense of the world).
