Who are my Congressmen

1. Find out who your Congressmen (including your Senators and your Representative) are in the United States Congress.

Keep in mind that you have two Senators and one Representative. You should be discussing no more or less than 3 people in your paper.

Please remember to find your Congressmen in the U.S. Congress.
Please remember to find my Congressmen in your district and state (Orlando Florida)

2. How long have they been in office? What is their party? What does their biography look like? Do they have children? What is their religious affiliation, occupation, education, etc.? Include any other information that you find interesting or relevant.

You can include any information here that you wish to include. Just make sure to write a complete biography.

3. Find five recent bills that they each voted on by roll call vote. Include the bill number as well as the content of the bill. You only need to include a few lines of content.

You need to find bills that are from the last 3-5 months.
Remember to include a date on each bill.

4. How did they vote? Did they vote in favor of the bill or in opposition to the bill?

You should have 5 votes for each person for a total of 15 votes.

5. Write a 3-5 page, typed, double-spaced, clearly written paper that includes the answers to the above questions. You may choose to organize your paper any way that you see fit.

Make sure your paper is clearly written.
You may bullet the information or outline the information.
Make sure each bill is clearly listed in your paper.
Make sure each vote is clearly listed in your paper.
