Refer to Chapter 13 of Survey of Psychology I and review pp. 520-524 regarding early experiences having an effect on adult sexual behavior. The author discusses the Westermark hypothesis and the need for a an experiment or study to help determine if family members are generally not attracted to one another due to bio-programmed processes or if this is a result of social or cultural norms. What is an ethical method to perform this study? Please explain. If you do not believe that there is an ethical way to approach this study then please provide your rationale. In addition, do you agree or disagree with the statements that sexuality between unrelated family members (Ex: daughters/stepfathers, etc.) is not considered incest? Why or why not?
