The welfare impacts of foreign agricultural investment in Sub-Saharan Africa – what I would like to see is a two-case study comparison. So the first part of the paper would discuss foreign agricultural investment then specifically foreign agricultural investment in sub-saharan Africa. Then ideally the paper would go into two separate case studies on welfare impacts and then at the end compare/contrast the two.

We are trying to see IF agricultural investment has positive or negative welfare impact on communities and countries in SSA.

Original Assignment Details: Write a substantive paper on a research question of your choice that was touched upon during class or in the readings. You can be creative in what your focus on but the statements in your case study need to be well supported by the literature and referenced. The study can have a global or regional focus or drill down to national, sub-national or community issues.
