Developing Training Materials

Determine the most appropriate and effective presentation method (e.g., lecture, on-the-job training [OJT], simulation, etc.) for delivering the training or learning intervention that you proposed based on the needs assessment.

Create specific instructional goals and objectives to incorporate in the training or learning intervention.

Create a detailed lesson plan or outline that highlights the content and agenda of your training or learning intervention.

Create all training materials that will be used in the training or learning intervention (e.g., training materials, job aids, handouts, etc.).

Include a minimum of one source, which may consist of readings from the University Library, your text, and other selections.
