You will also be revisiting the same Alternate World that you discussed in Week One to compose a case study. In the case study, you will analyze potential threats to national interests, and how states could respond to those threats and challenges in this plausible scenario using various elements of national and international power. You Are the President of the United States. You also were able to experience first-hand how many factors need to be considered when dealing with a foreign crisis. In your text, the author discusses seven different globalization trends that are affecting global diplomacy. Choose one of those trends and contribute additional analysis, evaluation, and real world examples of how that globalization trend is impacting diplomatic efforts around the world. Make sure to draw on what you learned from the simulation and the required readings, as well as from current events.
