Compare a use case description and an activity diagram. Devise a scenario in which you would use a case description, and devise a scenario in which you would use an activity diagram.

Discussion Question 1

As part of the process of completing the FAFSA electronically, students and parents of dependent students must “sign” the electronic FAFSA with their FSA ID. You will be obtaining your own FSA ID. A FSA ID lasts forever. (If you have children and may be applying for aid in the future, put it aside and you will have a leg up on the process!) You will go to https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa/filling-out/fsaid (Links to an external site.) and follow the process for obtaining a FSA ID. This is an exercise to assist you in assessing what parents and students must do to obtain a FSA ID. Post a message to the discussion board link to let me know that you’ve received your FSA ID, but DO NOT POST YOUR FSA ID to the discussion board. Some of you may have already applied for a PIN previously as students yourself or in your job as counselors. If you already have a PIN, you can link your information to your new FSA ID by entering your PIN while registering for your FSA ID. (This will save you time when registering for your FSA ID.) If you’ve forgotten your PIN, don’t worry; you can either enter the answer to your PIN “challenge question” during the FSA ID registration process to link your PIN, or you can just create your FSA ID from scratch. This is pretty much a “honor system” assignment for you to make sure you are familiar with the FSA ID process.

To obtain a FSA ID you must have a US Social Security Number. If you do not have a Social Security Number, review the directions for obtaining a FSA ID, and notify me that you have done so.
