Criteria: You have learned that warfare, violence, intimidation, subjugation, and fear were used and were an integral part in the establishment and maintenance of a State (The Maya) and of Empires (The Aztec and The Inca). Write an in-depth essay on all three societies.
1. Present and explain the varying means by which these societies utilized those tactics to rise up, conquer, expand, and thrive.
2. Include how these methods may have contributed to their eventual collapse.
3. What is believed to have caused the collapse of each of these societies?
4. These are basically three separate essays within the assignment. Make it clear that you are changing cultures when you move on to the next one.
