My Professor wants me to write about my family rituals and traditions around prenatal care. In my family the men stay out of the way when babies were born and had nothing to do with the baby’s birth, and the care of the mother during the time of birth. The women of the family, grandmother, mother, sisters, aunts, and even women in community help out with the birth and caring of expected mother. The men of the family provided all that was needed when the baby came home like food, clothing, and the baby’s bed because that was the job we were assigned by the women of the family. Will send chapter on Variation in Prenatal Care that goes along with assignment.
