Paper instructions:
What do you think about the readings in relation to the issue of terrorism and surveillance? Do we care enough that our government is collecting data from us without our knowledge (at least until recently)? What do you think about Jensen’s argument regarding foreign policy? How might the NPR podcast fit into this discussion?

Did the film challenge any assumptions you may have had about South America, in terms of media images, etc.?

Also, bring in a current media example and talk about it in relation to this week’s topics. We covered a lot of ground, so the example you use can be specific to one topic.
