United States economy

Briefly discuss the current state of the United States economy and clearly and carefully explain what policies (fiscal and/or monetary) you would advise be used to improve things AND clearly and carefully explain how and why you think these policies would be beneficial.

Illustrate that you can use the skills/concepts/ideas you should have picked up during the course of this class to give your educated and well-reasoned opinions regarding the effectiveness and impact of the plan of action you advise. What is most important is that your opinions and conclusions be based on the economics you have learned in Econ 2015 and not be based on what you read in some newspaper, journal, magazine, blog, or online encyclopedia.
