to be the PRO TRADE LIBERALIZATION For China. Is my Topic of Disscussion
Now that the groups are set, we need to start debating about the pros and the cons of the TRADE LIBERALIZATION. My group, PRO TRADE LIBERALIZATION, has to defend the pros of the trade liberalization with positive arguments. And the ANTI TRADE LIBERALIZATION group, has to defend the cons of the trade liberalization with negative arguments.
Now, my group PRO TRADE LIBERALIZATION, this is what we have to do. We are going to give good arguments about that trade liberalization might actually improve the quality of the environment and does not really affect it because of this statement: the international environmental policy of the U.S. and other industrial nations is based on the polluter-pays principle.
Country is China
The WTO, industrial countries, Non-member countries, multi-national enterprises, non-governmental organizations, labor unions, and so on.
Examples of their interests and objectives would include, but not be limited to : Trade liberalization, resolution of trade disputes, national sovereignty, environmental protection, etc.
Each side should have its own Discussion board where each person posts results of their research, their interpretations, and comments on other member’s postings.
Please note, the two basic positions are Pro trade liberalization and Anti trade liberalization.
Someone who is Pro trade liberalization will not agree with statements like trade liberalization leads to a race to the bottom?, trade liberalization conflicts with morally-conscious environmental policies, or trade liberalization creates pollution havens?
Someone who argues against trade liberalization (is Anti trade liberalization) will agree with those statements.
The final paper should follow APA format. It should be well organized with an introductory section that not only presents an overview of the topic, but also how the paper is constructed. The paper should contain clearly delineated sections and subsections, each with its own header in bold. It goes without saying that all the sources that are used must be cited in the text of the paper as well as in the bibliography.
A couple of good places to start looking for papers concerning this topic are the World Trade Organization’s site for trade and the environment, and the National Bureau of Economic Research. Wikipedia is not considered a reliable source, and AIU discourages its use in any papers.
Often, people find it difficult to arrange convenient times to meet, as a group, in the group chat area. If you find that is true for your group, then set a group discussion board for your communications. Remember, you need to post your individual arguments in group db lists anyway. Also remember to comment on each other’s group db postings.
Please set up the DB threads you need by clicking on Add Forum and entering your message. However, if at any time questions or concerns arise, feel free to contact me. Email is that best way to do that, by the way.
