Order Description
Group Paper:
Students in groups are expected to write a paper on a real-life scenario related to any topic
discussed in class. The topic has to be submitted for approval by the 6th teaching week. The paper
will typically summarize the real-life scenario and then explain the phenomenon with current
findings of research so that the problems and issues can be illustrated. Evaluation will be based on
the adequacy of problem identification and analysis and the understanding of relevant
conceptual/theoretical foundation. Good application of textbook or other research materials is
expected. Analysis from a Hong Kong and/or Chinese perspective is encouraged. The final report
should be no more than 10 pages, excluding references and appendixes. No oral presentation is
needed.
