Research proposal that will be based on the same research topic and question that I have used for Assessment 1, which was my Literature Review based on homosexuality and this topic include questions around – the causes (what causes homosexuality)? Are we born this way or does our sexual orientation starts to shape during our childhood/growing up process? What social factors shape our sexual orientation? Is it genes, upbringing or simply a matter of personal choice? Nature or nurture? This Literature Review needs to be backed up by developing a Research Proposal for a small primary or secondary research project that can be undertaken in Year 3 for my dissertation project. It should be reasonable to carry out in a 6 month period. In materials section I added detailed guidance to show how the Research Proposal has to be written and laid out, at the same time it is important that Research Proposal is being followed by the topic from my Literature Review that is also uploaded for references. Please have a read through it to make sure Research Proposal is solely based on it. Please also make sure that you stick to detailed guidance that is uploaded in materials section and follow it through as you go along with writing this Research Proposal. If anything sounds unclear, please let me know. Please also make sure that you use language that is adequate for second year undergraduate university student that is studying Sociology course, since my lecturer is very strict.
