Team Building Activity – Ball rolling on the pipes!

An exercise, my classmates and I did in the class. It was called Pips Lines. It is team building activity where each participant gets one short length of half pipe, and the group must work together to deliver a marble down the pipes from start point to finish. Requires a high level of communication and teamwork.
The professor divided us to two groups. I was in the team that won in the first around. But in the second around, when the professor decided to rebuild the teams by switching between the two teams and join new members to our team, we did not win. I think there are several reasons for the loss in the second round. First, there was non-understanding and communication between the new members, who joined the team, and the old members. Second, there was no leader of the team who directs and ensures that all the team members on the same page.

Imagine that you were me in the class. Then, write reflection on this exercise. The emphasis on your reflection will be your analysis of how change and /or leadership concepts were embedded and demonstrated reflect upon the view from the balcony.
