Write 3-three page critiques of math education research articles. Each research critique must include the following information:
•Research Question – What research question did the researcher(s) attempt to answer in this study?
•Participants – Who participated in the research study? What grade level or other information do you know about the participants?
•Procedures/Data Collection Methods – What data was collected during the study and how was it collected? Any ethical considerations?
•Analysis – How was the data analyzed after it was collected?
•Results – What did the study conclude?
•Recommendations – What recommendations did the researchers make to
teachers/ educators/ other researchers?
•Impact – How does this study impact on your personal philosophy about mathematics teaching and the learning process?
•Connections – How does this study connect to your teaching of communication, reasoning and problem solving in mathematics?
