Activity Description

For this assignment, develop a culminating project in which you are able to showcase your learning in the course and synthesize relevant literature in the field.

Select one of the following as a basis for your project:

A literature-based research report on a professional issue in the field facing student affairs staff who work closely with studentsAn in-depth, field-based case study of a current issue involving students and staff at a particular institution (with literature review)A demonstration project that presents a model response by a student affairs unit to a pressing issue or concern (with relevant literature reviewed)A case study analysis of a student affairs division at a specialized type of higher education institution (i.e., Tribal College; HBCU; HSI; etc.)

Regardless of the focus of the report, inclusion of relevant professional literature related to the focus is required. Professional literature is comprised of peer-reviewed, published journal articles from within the most recent five years.

Length: 12-15 pages not including title and reference pages.
References: Minimum of 7 scholarly resources.

Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your paper should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards. Review APA Form and Style.
