Topic: Abstinence

Topic: Abstinence

Order Description

Select something you enjoy and engage in on a daily basis, such as caffeine, alcohol, sugar, chocolate, smoking, exercising, watching TV, etc.; and be abstinent from this activity or substance for 3 weeks (sorry, abstaining from the Internet is not an option!) Keep a personal journal noting your daily feelings, thoughts, etc. related to the experience. Also keep track of any “withdrawal” symptoms, or triggers (internal or external cues that trigger an urge for the thing you are abstaining from), “slips” or relapses.

You will not submit your journal, but use your observations to write a 4 page paper reflection paper that conceptualizes your “abstinence” experience. I have attached an example.

You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.
