Take on the challenge of making an argument of your own. Start by studying Chapters 10 (Arguments), 22 (Using Argumentative Strategies), and 39 ([Examples of] Arguments).
In this persuasive essay, situate yourself within the map of positions on your controversy, and produce an argument that advocates a particular position using the persuasive strategies covered in the course. Acknowledge and answer opposing viewpoints on the way to supporting your own contemporary argument based on good reasons and strong evidence.
Make sure to cite at least four sources from Research Library (ProQuest), CQ Researcher, the textbook, Opposing Viewpoints, and Academic Search Complete.
