Paper details:You can’t simply write a narrative or time-line of the events of the reigns of these emirs ( see the Proposal ) (although you certainly need to include some of that kind of narrative in your paper). You need to ask a question from your research, analyze the evidence (which should be taken mostly from PRIMARY SOURCES= sources that date to the actual time-period you’re writing about), and then write the paper in a way that answers that question
Examine the reigns of these four men and ask a question . Did they adopt the same strategy in dealing with their Christian neighbors? If not, then how did they differ, and why ?
