In writing classes, EFL Saudi teachers focus on the form instead of the meaning of the English language. This overemphasis results in grammar drills and memorization rather than language use for expressing ideas. Therefore, EFL teachers should be trained to use twitter as a writing-learning tool.

Description:

The participants will be Saudi university students. Their age ranges from 18 to 20 years old. They will be 100 EFL university students. They will be majoring in applied English.

The tool:

A questionnaire will be assigned to investigate the students’ attitude regarding using Twitter to improve their English writing competence.
