Paper details:The content of your report
• Title page (including name of all group members, date of submission, course, title of course work)
• Introduction – this should offer a clear overview of your topic and state your rationale for why you plan to carry out the investigation.
• Report topic/question. Aims and objectives – These must be succinct, achievable and coherent.
• Literature review – you must demonstrate clear knowledge of your chosen area of research. Identify what others have written, including key debates, and relevant theories concept. You must include at least 10 academic references here from journal articles or academic books. Websites can be used for contextual information, but will not contribute to this total.
• Methodology/methods – here you must describe your research philosophy and approach. The design of your research, including sampling strategy and your plan for data collection. Be specific about both the procedure you intend to follow, and offer justifications for each of the research designs you make. You should include reference to appropriate methods texts in this section. It is not necessary to include a draft questionnaire or schedule of interview questions, although the group should indicate the main themes that would be covered and discuss possible question formats

Abstract: Brief description of research problem and proposed method (50-100 words)
Introduction: Clear description of the topic & justification for its selection. Research aim/question and objectives should be clearly stated.
(250 – 300 words).
Literature Review: In-depth knowledge of what others have written on the subject relevant to the research questions. Solid understanding of relevant debates, concepts & theories leading to a clear articulation of main research issues raised by the LR. Discussion of methodology used by others to research the topic. Definition of key terms & development of framework which may have underpinned the research undertaken. Substantive, correctly formatted bibliography using Harvard style provided.
(900 – 1,100 words)
Methodology: Clear exposition of research philosophy and approach. Clear description and justification for the design of the research, including identification of population, case selection and/or sampling strategy. Discussion of validity/reliability. Explanation of the proposed method, including process of access to the organisation, identification of suitable data requirements. Main themes to be explored/important variables identified. Realistic timeframe suggested. Discussion of relevant ethical issues. The discussion should relate specifically to the research question explanation. Students should also identify likely difficulties associated with gathering data & implementing the research design, including any limitations/constraints.
(800 –1,000 words).
