The Chocolate War

2) I have already written the Thesis Statement, as follows:

Thesis Statement: In the novel The Chocolate War, Robert Cormier portrays the life of a young man who is subjected to deal with difficult situations and cruel, manipulative people in his school, while at the same time trying to learn about his own identity, and facing the repercussions that he took upon himself for standing for what he believes in.

3) The quotations must contain a proper citation and your analysis must be 5-7 sentences long.

4) The journal must have 15-20 entries.

see conflict and refer to phrases and actions within the book, this is going to be a speech that will be 4-5 minutes long. so basically the thing we have to do for the speech is just name the type of conflict and where it is in the book, and it is also review of the book.
