The Big and the Small.
The God of Small Things is a novel that moves back and forth between“big things” and “small things.” How does the novel try to link the Big and the Small? How are
the events surrounding Estha and Rahel, Ammu, Velutha, Chacko, and other characters linked to larger aspects of society that are beyond their control? Why is the novel called The God of Small Things? Is “smaller” better, and what are “small things” anyway?
This is a paper for a Final exam so it only needs to be as long as you need to make sure the questions answered adequately.
