Where is terrorism occurring around the world?
Each year the Director of National Intelligence provides a briefing for the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence on the threats facing the United States. Please read the Regional Threats section (pages 12 to 27) of the “Statement for the Record” presented by Director James Clapper in January 2014 and also the State Department “Annex of Statistical Information: Country Reports on Terrorism 2012.” Select one country from the ten countries listed in Table 2 of the Annex, “Ten Countries with the most terrorist attacks, 2012.” Find supplemental information on the selected country in the Central Intelligence Agency’s “World Factbook” and the State Department’s “Country Reports on Terrorism.”
