Task is to provide a thorough evaluation of and response to “More Testing, More Learning” By O’Malley, Dahlke. Do you think that the author does a satisfactory job of supporting his/her thesis?
To develop your argument, you should critique the original essay by analyzing any weaknesses in writer’s logic, arguments and evidences. You can also address essential issues that the author failed to discuss. This paper NOT asking you simply for your opinion/position on the topic, but instead asking for your critical analysis and evaluation of the writer’s paper.
Essay checklist:
-your intro should briefly summarize the text on which you are focusing and present your thesis statement ( your overall assessment of the writer’s ideas). should include a full reference to source text. (MLA style)
-each supporting paragraph should provide a evaluation, analysis, and/or critique of the original author’s claims, evidence or support, depending on your position.
-each supporting paragraph must use convincing evidence (examples) and logical reasoning (analysis) to prove the validity.
-each supporting paragraph must include appropriate and effective quotes and paraphrases from the text.
-your essay should have a conclusion which offers a new insight or possible solution. Depending on your position, you might choose to provide suggestion for what would improve the essay, or what kinds of evidence/arguments would be more convincing/effective.
-you essay should interesting and informative TITLE.
