Complete the following assignment using the “Strategy and Positioning Analysis” template.

Develop a 2,100-word analysis explaining the following headings:

  • Describe the organization’s background, industry, and product or service.
  • Describe, in detail, the product or service.
  • Prepare the SWOT analysis of the organization and offering.
  • Explain a competitive analysis of the organization and offering.
  • Describe your target market in detail, including information on the geographic, demographic, psychographic and behavioral factors used to choose your market segment.
  • Identify the needs that cause your target market to buy.
  • Create a written positioning statement that identifies:
    • Your organization’s product/service
    • Your target market
    • How your product solves the target market’s needs
    • What makes your organization different from its competition

Include at least four sources of research that support your analysis; at least one must be the textbook, one from the University of Phoenix library, and one piece of secondary research.  

Format your assignment consistent with APA guidelines.

Strategy and Positioning Analysis Part 1

Order Description
Create a new to the world product or service that will be launched by either an existing organization. This is an item your team will brainstorm and innovate. Obtain your instructor’s approval of your product or service before beginning this project. Have your team’s editor or spokesperson send me a private note with your product idea. To be clear (and save time), what I don’t want to see is products that are already in development or launch by your organization. New-to-the-world is what we want. Your creation!

Example: You might decide to use Coca-Cola as your existing organization. You create a new product for Coke to launch – something that is a good fit for Coke’s expertise and existing infrastructure and distribution channels, etc. It might be something like a carbonated bloody mary mixer. Or it could be a new flavored water item. You might want to create a new secondary brand, or you can put the Coca-Cola brand on it – that’s your strategic decision to make.

Develop a 1,100 or more word analysis explaining the following headings:
•Describe the organization’s background, industry, and product or service.
•Describe, in detail, the product or service.
