– STRATEGIC PLAN AND IMPLEMENTATION
Task:
Based on your organisational analysis and scan and with reference to writers and research and from Assignment 1, you are asked to develop, discuss and validate a strategic plan for your EC organisation for the next 3 years. This will involve a convincing discussion and rationale, addressing the reason for the implementation of a number of strategies to strengthen your organisation and move it into a more sustainable position for the future. It will also include detailed discussion on the process for the implementation of these strategies, covering financial and staffing implications.
Your strategic plan will need to address 1 issue from each section you selected for Assignment 1:
??Organisational identity;
??Organisational leadership and human resource management;
??Financial management, administration and trends
You should be able to address a total of 3-5 key core strategies within your assignment.
Part A – Essay (2500 words) Details Requirement
You are writing a 2000 word essay that will sell and explain your Strategic Plan (SP) to the stakeholders. Whilst your Strategic Plan will be included as a separate appendix, you will continually refer to, write about and justify your Strategic Plan in your written essay. As a leader, you use your 2500 words to basically sell your SP to staff, parents, parents and wider community.

In this written section of your main assignment, you will need to include:-

? Why this goal is important? What are the values of this goal to your organization? How it will strengthen your organization? Note: Due to your word limit, you will only be able to provide some ideas for each of these sections…and continue to refer to your SP for details.
5) Discuss Staff Implementation Ideas. Discuss the ramification for staff management. In order to implement your strategic plan:-
? Any human resources implications to go with Goal 1, Goal 2 and Goal 3. (Do you need to employ new staff because of this plan? Do your current staffs need to work longer time?
? How are you going to organize your staff?
? How are you going to work with staff to implement the plan? Who will responsible in different section?
? What are the hurdles? How will these be overcome?
? What other HR issues will there be with regards to the addition of new staff and training (if needed)?
6) Discuss Financial considerations. The importance of considering financial implication which regards to the implication of your strategic plan.
? Any financial implications to go with Goal 1, Goal 2 and Goal 3. (Is there any additional cost in order to implement these goals that you stated in your strategic plan?)
? Some suggestions or ideas on how this will be organised. What money you may need and how you will go about funding implementation suggestions.
7) Conclusion

In this section, you need to develop a similar template as the shown exemplar and include all relevant sections for each goal 1, 2, 3:-
a) Goal: Develop a goal statement for each section (Organisational Identity; Human Resources; Financial management, administration and trends) which is the outcome (ends) statements that guide the organization’s programs, administrative, financial, and governance functions.
? When developing goals. You need to think about…..what was it that I identified in Assignment 1 that was of key concern…or a key strength…..?That is critical for the organisation to address for the future.
? You can Include commitment words (e.g. ‘will’, ‘ensure’, ‘projected to be’, etc.).

b) Strategies: Explain what the organization will undertake? What strategies you will use to achieve these goals?
c) Implementation:How will you implement the strategies? What will be implemented? Who will implement? Include short, middle and long term implementation ideas.
