The systolic blood pressure (given in millimeters) of males has an approximately normal distribution with mean
μ = 120
and standard deviation
σ = 12.
(a) Calculate the z-scores for the male systolic blood pressures 110 and 130 millimeters. (Round your answers to two decimal places.)
110 mm z =
-0.83
130 mm z = 0.83
If a male friend of yours said he thought his systolic blood pressure was 2.5 standard deviations below the mean, but that he believed his blood pressure was between 100 and 150 millimeters, what would you say to him?

26 IT – Research Paper on Trends in Networking Technologies
Prepare a research paper in Microsoft Word, with at least 10 pages (excluding name and biblio pages), double-spaced, in APA format (see writing expectations in the Policies section), and with a minimum of 10 solid references. The quality and volume of the paper content is expected to be of a graduate level. The following is a recommended guideline:
Detailed description of the area researched
Technology involved in the area
Existing data on the area or technology researched (this could be linked to Case Study assignment)
Future trends in the area
Example companies involved in the area
Regulatory issues surrounding the area
Global implications for the area
Security issues
You may use resources from the APUS Online Library, any library, government library, or any peer-reviewed reference (Wikipedia and any other publicly-reviewed source is not accepted). The paper must by at least 10 pages double-spaced, 1″ margin all around, black 11 point fonts (e.g., Times New Roman or Arial) with correct citations of all utilized references/sources, (pictures, graphics, etc are extra – allowed but extra for the minimum page count). The title page and references are also required but don’t count in the minimum page count. A minimum of 10 solid references are needed.
The paper will be subjected to checking against plagiarism. The paper must follow acceptable originality criteria (no more than 15% max total, and 2% per individual source match are allowed).
Research topic is Trends in Network Technologies, an outline of the paper is attached. Please utilize it but obviously some adjustments will need to be made as more references will need to be utilized than what outline has and the guidelines of the paper must be followed including all criteria of the above mentioned. Do not use bullet points in this paper, needs to be written a a research paper.
Needs to be done by 10/25/15 by 5:00pm – will pay $50.0

Introduction
Technology is changing at a fast pace. The world has become a global village which has been facilitated by the use of networks. The paper will look at trends in networking technologies laying emphasis on emerging trends. The trends looked at in this paper include cloud computing, software defined networking, internet of things and technology radar trends. The paper will specifically be interesting because it will utilize simple language (Astuto et al., 2014).
Trends in networking technologies
Cloud computing
Cloud computing is changing the landscape of networking and technology as whole. This section will look at the numerous types of cloud computing such as private, public and hybrid, looking at their relationship with networking. This section will be insightful in understanding cloud computing (Mirashe & Kalyankar, 2010).
Software Defined Networking (SDN)
SDN is transforming networking speeds in tremendous ways. This gives company’s an opportunity to fast track application deployment in addition to delivery which translates to reduced costs. The section will give insights of how SDN is changing technology through an array techniques (Kirkpatrick, 2013).
Internet of Things (IOT)
The IoT is enhancing the connectivity of people and things to unimaginable scale. In this scenario, the connected devices are more than the population of the world on the ration of 1.5:1. All this is only attainable through enhanced connectivity. This is a new trend in networking that is surely leaving a landmark in the dynamic industry (Atzori, Iera, & Morabito, 2010).
Technology Radar Trends (TRD)
The world is changing at a faster pace. Technology radar is utilized to identify in addition to tracking new technologies coming up in the globe today. In technology, changes can make or break the biggest of companies. A company that turns a blind eye on the dynamic industry failing to adapt fast will soon be obsolete. Networking has to keep up with other technologies whereby TRD plays an important role in keeping networking abreast (McMillan, 2014).
Conclusion
Technology is changing at a fast pace. The world has become a global village which has been facilitated by the use of networks. To keep up, organizations must invest in the latest technology which is usually cheaper in terms of cost and more efficient in terms of performance. Failure to adopt to the fast changing technological environment is opening doors to business obsolescence.
