research protocol using secondary data to perform your research.

selected agency(ies) website to obtain resourceful information (i.e., data sets collected by Federal/State agency, etc).

You are expected to include all parts of the body of the paper (see outline of the research paper); however in the section

discussion & finding you are to include some of the statistical operations covered this semester:

Determination of frequency distribution and cumulative frequency distribution ( including graphical examples)
Measure of central tendency (mean, median, mode)
Measure of dispersion (standard deviation, symmetrical & asymmetrical distribution (skewness)
Normal and binomial probability distribution (z scores)
A causal explanation (cause and effect) of your research findings.

Formatting of the Paper:

The body of the paper is to be 8-10 pages in length,
Seven of the 8-10 pages must be text only (this is minus cover sheet, abstract, table of content, tables, bibliography,

appendices).
The remaining 1-3 pages is to be used for your statistical calculation, tables, graphs, data sets, or any non-text

information crucial to the research paper, which can be included in the body of the paper.
If you have more than 3 pages of non-text information include it in a Roman numeral labeled appendix (statistical

calculation, tables, graphs, data sets, pictures).

Further formatting of the paper is to be as follows: Times New Roman size 12 font, 2.0 spaces (double-spaced), 1” margins.

Also, include a cover sheet, table of contents, APA style citations (in the body of the paper) and APA style bibliography. A
