In this discussion area you will address three (3) policy initiatives of Mayor Alvin Brown. In so doing, you will address why the Mayor pursued such policy, whether he was successful in delivering the policy goals (if not, why not?), how the policy affects the local community, and how the initiative worked through the local council (if it did). Further, you goal in this discussion is to assess how Mayor Brown has approached dealing with local constituents, and with the city council- has the council cooperated with the Mayor?
