Assessment Task:

“It can be strongly argued that EU law is at the forefront of the interface between sport and the law. Especially given the reluctance of national courts to interfere in sports related disputes.”

Critically evaluate this statement with reference to legal authorities.

Learning Outcomes to be assessed:

1. To demonstrate an in depth and critical understanding of sporting regulations and dispute resolution.

2. To present a detailed and coherent argument in relation to conflicting points of view and make sound representations as to suitable solutions.

3. To critically evaluate the effectiveness of existing legal regulations within sport.
