Brief B – Children’s Day 2015
YCCC’s main aim is find a new long-term partner who would benefit from being exposed to and engage with the slightly different audiences attended by both competitions. The chosen brand would also have to comply with certain ECB-enforced regulations, as well as garner both player and member support. You have the responsibility to research and select an appropriate organisation, as well as satisfy the objectives and stipulations of all parties.
You are the Commercial Executive for the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation. The Foundation is seeking a naming headline sponsor for their annual Children’s Day (Children’s Day 2015 sponsored by…)
The Children’s Day is a free event that gives families from across Yorkshire the chance to explore Headingley Carnegie Stadium, play on cricket and rugby pitches, try some new activities, meet some local celebrities and most importantly have a fun day out at this special venue. The 2015 date has not been confirmed but it usually takes place last week in July.
The Children’s Day is organisaed primarily by the YCF and Leeds Rugby Foundation with support of the following organisations; Gary Chappelow memorial fund West Yorkshire Police, Leeds City Council and Leeds United.
You have the responsibility to research and select an appropriate organisation and demonstrate how the use of sponsorship will accomplish both parties shared organisation and marketing objectives.
Sport Sponsorship Re-assessment Brief
Reassessment Date: Tuesday 31st March, 2015

Re-assessment will be by the submission of an individual written 5000 word sponsorship proposal however you will be required to address a new sponsorship brief from the one that was originally assigned. See new brief below and you can choose which one. You may wish to re-consider your original sponsor unless you feel it will still be a good congruent fit with your new brief. Review feedback to make a judgement.
Brief A – White Rose Stand
You are the Commercial Executive for YCCC who is tasked with identifying an appropriate sponsor for the White Rose Stand at Headingley Carnegie Stadium.
2014 Welcomes the rejuvenation of the West Stand, the newly named White Rose Stand now incorporates three separate enclosures all encapsulation different audiences.

Brief C – Shirt Sponsor
You are the Commercial Executive for YCCC who is tasked with identifying an appropriate sponsor for the front of shirt for the County Championship & T20 Yorkshire Vikings teams.

You have the responsibility to research and select an appropriate organisation, as well as satisfy the objectives and stipulations of all parties.

REMINDER: University Regulations
You can only fail one module in level 5, achieve an average of 40% or more across all modules at this level and must achieve an overall average of 30% or more in each module studied. If you have scored less than 30% in this module you MUST take the opportunity to be re-assessed or you will not progress to the next level of your degree. It is always recommended that you take the opportunity for re-assessment. Any questions discuss with your personal tutor.
