WE need to identify a problem in a software of computers in a company. as software developers . in this phase we will state the problem that the user is facing. this phase is the main focus of the project managers and stakeholders. meeting with managers, stakeholders and users are held in order to determine the requirements like; who is going to use the system? how will they use the system? what data should be input in the system? what data should be output by system? these are general questions that get answered during a requirements gathering phase. after requirement gathering these requirements are analyzed for their validity and the possibility of incorporating the requirements in the system to be development is also studied 2-Problem specification: the objective here is to clearly define the scope and the objectives of the problem defined earlier. so we need two things 1- to identify the problem 2- then the problem specifications and how to solve it as software developers as detailed points
