This research paper is for Fourth Year Criminology Course.
Your research paper will integrate course concepts, theories, and ideas. For this essay you are required to pick one topic and conduct your own research. You are required to conduct further literature reviews on this topic to draw your own conclusions / argument on the importance of the issue.
The essay must not exceed 15 pages (not including references). Your paper will consist of the following elements:Introduction to problem of interest 1 1.5 pages
Developing the topic what is your research topic, the value and relevance of the topic, 4-5 pages. (This is your literature review section).
Presentation of findings this is where you will present your findings and main argument. You will discuss the relevance of your findings to the research question 5- 6 pages.
Conclusion summarize your main findings and connect back to the research topic. In this section you may make policy recommendations. 2 3 pages.
References You are required to use a minimum of 7 academic sources and not more than 3 of the assigned academic readings. You may also use non-academic sources such as newspaper articles.
