focus on a specific point in time in the novel.  You will prove how the specific event is important to character development in the novel. 
Choose at least 4 quotes as evidence for your argument.  Remember to do 3 things when you incorporate your quote into your argument.

3. Show how the quote proves that your argument is crucial to understanding the novel.
