This thesis quantitative research methods which typically contains data. An online survey will be used with 200 participators in two countries who are 18 years old or older. The survey will be distributed equally between poor and rich communities. The survey will be posted in social media (Survey Monkey) in United State (100) and Saudi Arabia(100). Identify all procedures that will be carried out with each type of subject in chronological order. Attach copies of tests or instruments to be used, and consent forms. Frist, the survey will be posted in social media. For those receiving the social media message the participants will go to the site and examine the Informed Consent Form and comply. Then the participant will have access to the survey. Then the survey will be collected and the data will be entered into Excel. The data will be converted to SPSS for analysis and the data sheet will be maintained on a flash drive. Social Cohesion and Its Influence on Discrimination as Criminal Behavior

Significance of the Study
Approximately 16 percent of United States population moves to a new neighborhood ever year (U.S. Census Bureau, 2000). They move to another place in order to reach the life needs such as educational opportunities (Hagelskamp, Suárez, & Hughes, 2010). Joining a new community may create some issues such as being discriminated against because the community is already cohesive and not welcome to new members in the community. This study is significant because it seeks to gain specific knowledge about an issue which concerns every member of society; simply put, the issue of crime. In order to continue efforts to reduce crime, a society must first understand why it occurs. In studying the effects social cohesion has on discriminatory and criminal behavior, whether positive, negative, or both, a deeper understanding of crime can be reached. Subsequently, a more effective system can be developed in order to address crime once it is better understood. Clearly, these goals are admirable, however challenging they may be to attain.
In order to find success in gaining a greater perspective on how and to what extent social cohesion affects discriminatory and criminal behavior, one must first seek to understand what social cohesion entails. As previously mentioned, defining social cohesion is no simple task. This study, however, will present a variety of definitions of social cohesion and seek to identify core ideas among the various definitions about the meaning of social cohesion. Once an understanding of social cohesion is identified and/or established for the purposes of this study, an overview of existing attitudes concerning discrimination will be evaluated. After gaining some perspective through research concerning discrimination, the implications which connect discrimination to criminal behavior will be examined and discussed. Finally, solutions and recommendations concerning the connection between social cohesion and discriminatory and criminal behavior will be presented. This study will seek to identify practical yet innovative solutions and/or recommendations that are clearly relevant to the serious issue of discriminatory and criminal behavior.
