Security Design Project

Security Design Project:

A security design project will be assigned.  Students will receive drawings of a business facility.  Students will determine the type and locations of various security devices using the information gained in the text and class discussions.  The grade on this assignment will depend on how well thought out the design is in relation to overcoming problem areas and the clarity of the presentation itself.  Additionally, tIn each body paragraph, cite extensively from EACH poets’ poems to us evidence in your supporting ideas. Also cite from research.

Site at least 3 poems per poet.

In your conclusion, discuss the importance of poetry in one’s life and in American society, focusing on your chosen poets.

Include a works cited page. At least 3 books and 4 websites.

Times New Roman, size 12 font. MLA format.

My chosen poets are Robert Frost, Mary Oliver, and Maya Angelou.

Compare and contrast three American poets and show how they are alike and different in their poetry styles, poetic themes, outlook on life, and their influence on American society. Remember that to compare and contrast, you must find similarities and differences and use there ideas as topics for your body paragraphs. Then in EACH paragraph, discuss EACH poet. Compare and contrast does not mean to discuss each poet separately in paragraphs.

=he student will provide a narrative report discussing his/her security design.  The narrative must be at least three pages and cannot exceed four pages (times new roman font, 12pt, double spaced, 1 inch margins).  The diagram cannot be larger than 11X17.  The diagram and narrative must be stapled together with your name on each page.  More specific details concerning the project will be discussed during class time.
