You have been invited to attend a salon meeting. The reason you have been invited is to personally interview two attendees: one musician and one philosopher. First, begin by selecting one musician and one philosopher who lived during the Age of Enlightenment to interview. Next, perform background research about these two individuals; you will need this insight to assist you with your interview questions and responses. After you have completed your research, develop some questions that would be appropriate to ask at the salon. Where were you born and raised?
What were some of the things you did when you were growing up?
What educational training did you receive?
How do your ideas impact the people around you and possibly history?
After you have selected the two people to interview, performed the background research, and developed your list of interview questions, you will need to conduct the “interviews.” You will need to conduct a separate interview for each person. After you have listed the responses to the interview questions, write a summary of your thoughts about this person and their impact on culture and/or politics.
