a) How were rural communities affected by economic conditions of the late-19th/early 20th century?

Essay I:
Length: 2000-2500 words (8-10 pages), 12 point Times New Roman font preferred.
Format: Please use footnotes or endnotes (Not MLA or APE), and include a bibliography of published scholarly works (there is no set number of works required, but consider 7-8 books or articles. Encyclopedia notations and non-peer reviewed internet articles do not qualify as scholarly works).
Please note that you have to physically sign up for your essay topics in class. Each topic will be limited to 5 individuals – this is to ensure availability of resources in the library.
