Roll the dice 40 times and record your results. Find the eight descriptive statistics in the Chapter 1 for this data set.
This is an example
After reading and looking over chapter one of the text book, I found that the eight descriptive statistics are mean, median, mode, standard deviation, max, min, range, and count. The mean is the average of the data. The median is the middle of the data after putting the data in order. The mode is the data that is shown the most frequent. The standard deviation is the average distance of the data values from the mean. The max is the largest value of the data. The min is the smallest value of the data. The range is the difference of the max to min (max-min). Finally, the count is the number of how many values are listed. After rolling a set of dice and recording my scores into Excel the mean that I came up with is 6.775, median: 7, mode: 7, standard deviation: 2.454588, max: 12, min: 2, range: 10, and the count is 40.
