Describe three types of retirement options available to retirees today and provide examples for each. Identify issues of inequality affecting older adults as they approach retirement, specifically social class, gender, and occupational status. Explain the influences of inequality on the potential options a person has for full retirement. Consider how issues of long term housing and long term care may affect retirement considerations. Compare and contrast three historical changes that have taken place in long term care and housing that have a direct effect on choices, access and affordability for seniors.
