Edelstein, Monika 2002 “Lost Tribes and Coffee Ceremonies: Zar Spirit Possession and the Ethno Religious Identity of Ethiopian Jews in Israel” Journal of Refugee Studies Vol 15 (2): 153-170

Task : Write a weekly reaction paper in which you (1) summarize the main points of each of the Week’s reading assignments and (2) write a question for class discussion about the readings (two questiosn in total).

Length: Minimum length 500 words max 1000

The objective of the Reaction Paper is to help you stay current on the readings as well as provide you with an opportunity to express your own knowledge of the material in writing, as preparation for discussion and exams. These weekly reaction papers will also serve as your study guide for exams, so it is in your best interest to give them your very best effort.
