Order Description

You will need to turn in a 1 – 2 page response paper for the reading(s) assigned for that day’s class session. Your
response papers should include two paragraphs summarizing the respective week’s reading and two lengthily
quotes (4 – 10 lines long) followed by a paragraph for each discussing its meaning and significance. In total,
you will need to turn in 15 response papers to receive full credit. They will be collected at the beginning of each
class session and will be assessed on a check-scale. Absolutely no late response papers will be accepted. No
exceptions! You may use your response papers on course exams, so long as they have received a check or check
plus. An example response paper can be found in Appendix A of this syllabus
