Using your textbook “Residential Design Using Autodesk Revit 2015” by Daniel John Stine
1. Read the material in Lessons 3 and 4 (page 3-1 through page 4-29) and work on all the exercises using the Autodesk Revit software. Save your Revit work using the following format
lastname_CON1005_HW2.rvt (for example, Nguyen_CON1005_HW2.rvt)
2. Learn all material presented in the lessons such that you can answer the Self-Exams and the Review Questions at the end of each lesson. Those questions will be on your quizzes and exams.
Submittal: digital model file via Canvas. This will be graded based on 50 possible points.
Due Date: by 5:00 PM Friday, September 25, 2015.
Additional Information:
• There are 16 computers in Room 309 of the Link building that have Autodesk Revit software already installed. You can work on your homework there during the available time. See room schedule PDF on Canvas Admin folder.
• Alex Lasurdo will be available to answer Revit related questions for your homework assignments. He will be in room 309, Link building at the following time
Mondays: 4:30 to 6:30 PM
Fridays: 11 AM – 12:45 PM
These time slots are reserved for CON 1005 students.
• You can also download a free student version of Autodesk Revit on your personal computer and use it to do your homework.
• 2nd Floor CVE computer labs in Olin Engineering also have the Revit software.
